 User-friendly GUI with greater ease of operation
A workflow-orientated menu will help the operator reduce system setup time and boost testing productivity.

 Complete compatibility with the WCAonPC / AD-3600 series
A compatible user interface eliminates the need for additional training of WCAonPC / AD-3600 users. In additon, all prior analysis data remains upward compatible with Compact WCA.

 Compact-True ISO A4 Size (210 x 297mm)
You can use the CWCA anywhere; on-board a vehicle, in the field or in the lab, using DC or AC power both available with optional battery backup to protect data loss during power interruptions.

 The Compact WCA system from 4, 8 to 16 channels with single front-end hardware.
Expansion to a 32-ch, 48-ch or 64-ch configuration is possible with a synchronized connection of several 16-channel front-ends. Flexibility is provided to allow two separate mainframes with 4, 8, or 16 channels to be operated as a single 8, 16, or 32 channel system, and vice versa, by synchronizing the dual mainframes.

 Flexible Menu Customization/ Routine Automation
COM support capability enables complete control of the Compact WCA system with external application software such as Microsoft Excel. Customized menu design and automated routine processing are possible.

Powerful Analysis Software
 Multi-Analysis Software WCA PRO
WCA Pro, the base software for Compact WCA, can be used with Windows user interface. WCA Pro provides real-time FFT analysis for noise & vibration testing.

Optional licenses for integrating real-time octave analysis and tracking analysis are available. The system comes standard with throughput acquisition, allowing continuous copying of time history data to disk and repeated playback analyses. Off-line playback analysis with a standalone PC is also possible (option).

COM support capability enables complete control of the Compact WCA system with external application software such as Microsoft Excel.

System Configurations
The CWCA is a compact A4 size unit for in-vehicle real-time noise and vibration analysis.

The Compact WCA system is scalable from 4, 8 to 16 channels in a single A4 size front-end. Expansion to a 32-ch, 48-ch or 64-ch configuration is possible using a synchronized connection of several front-ends.

The front-end hardware is connected to a PC via LAN (100Base-T).

 Vehicle installation kit
The CWCA supports real-time in-vehicle vibration/ noise analysis with an in-vehicle kit equipped with a backup battery. Power supply is available from the vehicle’s cigarette lighter socket by inserting the attached plug. The cigarette lighter plug is included in this vehicle installation kit, so a power supply is available for a laptop computer (Power plus for laptop PC is required separately.) . This in-vehicle kit can be integrated with the rear panel side of Compact WCA. If you purchase an in-vehicle remote-control keypad, you can control the starting or stopping of data acquisition using a Windows PC.
 Throughput to Disk function
Time history data can be copied to the hard disk of the PC for playback analyses. Off-line analysis on a standalone PC is also available with an off-line license. The recorded throughput data can be exported in WAV format.

 Off-line analysis (Optional)
Off-line analysis using a standalone PC is also available with an off-line license. FFT analysis, tracking analysis, real-time octave analysis and time-series filter processing are available for time-series data, which is recorded using the throughput function. The CWCA also supports times-series data from data recorders, manufactured by other analyzer vendors.
In addition, a layered display with the analyzed data file (MFU file), a value reading using the cursor function and 2D/3D post processing calculation are available.
 Flexible Menu Customization with COM support
WCAPRO can be controlled through COM interface from VB or VBA.
The user can customize the screen using the COM function for typical processes and repeated operation.
In the case of recalling typical conditions and repeating data collection, FFT analysis and tracking analysis are available with a simple 6-button operation as you can see below. A&D supplies free samples of COM programming for this purpose.

 FFT Analysis Function
A variety of FFT function analysis is available for Real-Time processing and Post-processing with a time-series data file.

65536 Frame size has enabled frequency analysis at 1/25600.

The Compact WCA provides necessary FFT analysis functions, such as spectrum average function, hammering excitation and transfer function measurement with an exciter for vibration analysis and noise analysis.

The standard CWCA system supports MIMO (Multi-Input Multi-Output) functions, which calculate multiple structural responses caused by multiple excitation forces. A signal generator is available as an option.

 Tracking Analysis (Option)
Tracking analysis is available for real time processing or post processing with a time-series data file.The CWCA supports analysis modes such as 2D tracking, which process orders in real time, and 3D tracking, which displays a 3D map. It also provides constant ratio tracking, constant band tracking, time tracking, phase tracking, averaging and smoothing.
In 2D tracking function settings, multi channel setting can be easily carried out using a table format. Arbitrary analysis contents can be defined by setting the main substance unit: order/ frequency, bandwidth unit: order/frequency. Tracking points can be arbitrarily selected using minimum RPM, maximum RPM or average RPM.
The CWCA supports 3D map representation in Campbell plot display mode and color spectrum display mode and order selection using a 3D cursor. In addition, it can process selected orders from a 2D tracking function table.

Post-processing calculation is available to 3D data (MFU file/ Block data). A variety of calculation functions, such as selection from arbitrary order / frequency data (main substance unit: order/ frequency, bandwidth unite: order/ frequency), 2D data selection from selected RPM or Record, function transformation (converting from spectrum map to Octave map), averaging, weighting, differentiation/ integration, are supported.
